What is Carrollton United?
Carrollton United is a collaborative of community organizations working toward improving the physical, emotional, mental, financial, and spiritual health of Carrollton residents. It's objective is to improve the health outcomes of every resident by creating a healthy community. Carrollton Residents live between Interstate 10 and the River and between and the Jefferson Parish line.
Carrollton United is a member of Healthy New Orleans, a partnership of organizations and neighborhoods implementing a comprehensive vision of community wellness.
The initial sponsoring organizations participating in Carrollton include: Daughters of Charity Services of New Orleans, Maple Area Residents, Inc., Thunder Mountain Ministries of New Orleans, Inc., Mental Health Association in Metropolitan New Orleans, Eldercall, Inc., Trinity Christian community, Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church, Palmer Park Police Patrol & Association, Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans.
